My Super Fun Night, Part 2
After church, we went to the B's house because Josh and Joel had been there earlier. When out with the sheep with Charlie, they saw that one of them was about to give birth. So we went to go see the babies, or maybe even the birth! When we got there, the two lambs, girls, were just minutes old. We got to see them both stand up for the first time. They were so cute and tiny! But then the momma lay down again. We thought she was having another one, but it was just the after birth. But! Then we saw a white nose stick out! It was a triplet! It was so cool! Here are videos of it. :)
Birth: a leetle bit nasty…she licks all the stuff off of him…I wouldn’t eat while watching. :)

My Super Fun Night!
Last night was so much fun! When I arrived at youth group, there were a couple tables set up in a row up front. On the left were three small upside-down baskets, and on the right were three big upside-down tubs. They were for the game, of course. Tommy, our youth group leader, asked for volunteers. Tommy always thinks of good games, so I volunteered. After much pondering, Tommy chose two kids named Adam and Annie, as well as me. We were taken to a separate room.
A few minutes later Tommy came in and explained the game to us: we were to go in separately and pick up the buckets individually. We had to name what was under them as fast as we could and move on to the next one. Whoever did it fastest won. (the small baskets were just for practice.) Adam went in first. Annie and I tried to figure out what the game was REALLY about, because this didn't seem Tommy-ish enough. ;) In a few minutes Tommy came back and Annie went. Five minutes later, Tommy opened the door to the room breathlessly, sweating, and carrying a pie of whipped cream. Ah. This was Tommy-ish.
Tommy told me that a boy named Hunter was hiding under the middle bucket waiting to scare me. Boy was he in for a surprise! When I picked up the bucket and he tried to scare me, I was supposed to shove the pie in his face. He didn't know this, of course, but nobody else in the room did either. Oh yes. Very Tommy-ish indeed.
Let me give you some background: Hunter comes to the church everyday after school to help Tommy out. Today Tommy told him about how he was going to freak one of us out during the game. Hunter was so excited! But he couldn't tell ANYBODY. So Hunter was just thinking he was the stuff.
So we walk in to the room. Hunter's hiding under the table, and Tommy's carrying this pie. Everybody starts cracking up! But Hunter had no idea. Tommy explains the game, to me very loudly, and I practice on the baskets. Then Tommy hands me the pie and says "ready, set, go!" Tommy opens the first bucket, "Basketball!" Then he opens the second bucket, and Hunter yells, "Rawr!" and I pied his face. Man, you should have seen the room. Everyone went crazy! Tommy, who had been super excited about this the whole day, jumps in the air and shouts "YES!" HAHA! Oh it was so great. (and Hunter took it really well too :D)
I’ll post about the rest of last night tomorrow. :)

Three.
Three good friends, many acquaintances.
Three times we've seen FL friends.
Three letters. :) I love letters.
Three snowfalls.
Three special spots I love to be on our rental land. (when it's not too cold! ;)
Three calls a week from friends. :)
Three kids I babysat yesterday--my first one up here. (besides Mollie)
And it's been three [months] since I saw you,
since I said goodbye to
everything I knew.
And I thought that day would never come,
well, I guess that I was wrong
'cause it's already come.
And I miss the smiles, I miss the laughs
Sometimes I wish that things could just go back
to the way they used to be,
When you were with me...

I think I can make it three more months.

TCTC
What’s TCTC you ask? Why, it’s the Tennessee Christian Teen Convention! There were speakers, bands, a poet, and an illusionist there! And pretty much our whole youth group, including Josh and I, went to it. This year's theme was "Illuminate Your World." The speaker was really good! He challenged all of us.
My mom, my friend April, and I shared a room. My mom’s friend, Tammy B, and some younger girls named Kacey (Tammy’s daughter), Ashlynn, and Logan were in the room next to us. There was a door connecting our rooms, so we hung out with them at night.
We discovered the beds were very bouncy. (This is Kacey, and that’s Ashlynn in the back)
Oh yes. You know who that is. ;)
Here’s pictures from the bands.
Franchesca Battastelli (however the heck you spell her name)
And then…
Wahoo!
Daniel Brio!! (Best picture of the night!)
Funny story of the night: Jason (lead singer) was telling a story about how he messed up his foot while chasing his dog, and Daniel (bass) interrupted to say something.
Jason: “Dude, I’m trying to tell a story here.”
Daniel saunters up to the mic. “Proceed.”
Okay, I know it’s not that funny in writing. But it was funny when he said it ;)
After the story was over, Daniel says: “Does anyone have an extra foot they can lend Jason?” And of course all the girls start screaming.
Saturday night we went to see the illusionist, BJ Harris. I wish Joel was there!
Here’s People Pictures from the weekend :).
Half of Jonathan, Josh, Charlie (Charlie is Mrs. B’s son and Kasey’s brother)
Megan, Kassi, Grace, Katie, Me, Tori
Me and Katie
I love this kid :). (I’m babysitting her and her two younger brothers tonight! :D)
Apparently it’s our church’s tradition to go to the big Bass Pro Shop on the way back from TCTC.
I didn’t realize until after I took this that it looks like the bear’s about to eat Kassi :D.
Ah, there we go.
Ahh…it was a fun weekend. ;)
