A Day With Me!

By Glenna!
Hullo! I am here to give you a summary of what Rachel and I like to do in our spare time. I must apologize for the funny format for this my first time on blogger. OK mostly I let you just enjoy the randomness but other wise I'll explain some.

That was my eye!
Oh yes, we can be serious.
I started choking in this one. : )
In case you've been wondering my arm is there holding a lamp.

And now I leave you wonderful people with our master piece.

I will miss you all! -Glenna

What Day is It?

Can someone tell me what day it is? I honestly thought it was Saturday.

This is what summer does to me, people.

But I love it. :-)

A Lovely Hike

Recently, we went up to NC for Uncle Mike's graduation and Mollie's dedication.

Oh happy day!

One of the first days we were there we went up to the Blue Ridge. (Of course!)

We found a lovely little trail which we decided to follow.

It was a little more than a mile long, and it was through a beautiful forest.

Aww!

I'm not sure what was up with this tree, but I thought it was weird, so I took a picture. :-)

I just loved the path. I took a lot of pictures of it.

We found this little hut, but we weren't sure if it was the place that the trail led to.

Anyway, it was a good resting place!

Yes, I wore flats hiking. I didn't even bring any sneakers, okay?

Eventually we decided that this view was not what we were really hiking to.

(Joel was great and let me take pictures of him)

We started back on the path.

We could tell we were almost there when the forest began to end.

We came to this pavilion, and Joel let me take more pictures. :-)

We walked a little bit further, and found this.

Good golly.

It was a gorgeous meadow, and we were the only ones there!

There's the boys back at the little information sign.

You all just tilted your heads, didn't you? :-D

The path led us to a little rock wall, and someone had made circlets of flowers.

What do you think? :-)

Oh yeah, Joel. That totally works for you.

We decided to sit and enjoy the meadow for a while.

And look! The perfect rock on which to do our sitting and enjoying!

It was puuuurty.

Family pictures!

Look! It's the flower king and queen!
