Saturday Sightings: Sill Falls

My grandma was very happy to be coming on this exploration with us because it was, I believe, the first waterfall she has been able to go to! Woo hoo happy dance! Over 40 pounds lost already! We’re so proud of her! :)

It was a rather difficult walk at the end. The path got really narrow and rocky.

But most of the way, it was like this.

Then we arrived: Sill Falls!  There wasn’t much water because it hadn’t rained in a while, but it was still very beautiful!

    

There’s me so you can get an idea of how big it was. I’m almost to five feet, you know!

  Grandma was so happy to be there :)

Unfortunately, it started to rain soon after we got there, so we couldn’t stay long.    I think I want one of these backpacks. Who wants to carry me?

   On the way back, Uncle Mike kept trying to catch a fish to show Mollie, but he kept losing them. I think they started to catch on. He never did get to show her one.

That sound you just heard was me fainting. I can’t take the cuteness.

Saturday Sightings: Blue Hole

(Yes, I know it’s Sunday. But so much happened yesterday! More later.)

Blue Hole was so. amazing. And it was only because of one waterfall.

Not this one, but this was nice too. Blue Hole has four different waterfalls that are connected. We went down the fun way. Stairs are for weenies.

This was a cool swimming hole! I would have gone in but I didn’t bring a change of clothes. :(

But this… this was the best part.

It’s on top of the waterfall with the swimming hole.

   IT WAS SO COOL!!!  You could even go behind the waterfall!

Joel hit his head.

That’s the V’s. They came with us.

  Even Mom and Dad went!

  Josh fished most of the time with his new fishing pole. He caught a big trout!

  What a cool place. I hope we go back!
