Howdy! I am at my Grandma and Grandpa's house in Indiana. No snow yet, but we just got here last night! :-) I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
Also-please pray for my Aunt and Uncle, their baby came 8 weeks early on the 27th. Her name is Mollie. She is breathing on her own, but she will not be able to come home for a while, and it was really hard for them to leave her today. I will post pictures and a couple videos when I get home, but for now you can look at the ones my aunt posted: sunflowerinnc.blogspot.com

Please pray for us, my mom is still not feeling great. Also, we will be going to Indiana for New Year's, and there have been some snow and ice storms, so pray for our safety on the road.

The Thanksgiving Weirdo

Thanksgiving
A few weeks ago we traveled to St. Petersburg to celebrate Thanksgiving with my Mom's parents and aunt and uncle. On Thanksgiving day, we went over to my Aunt Betty and Uncle Tom's house.
Also, while we waited, we were able to have some fun trying to crack nuts open. It was very difficult, and most of the time we kids needed help from Dad. :-)
Here is the beautifully set table...
Suddenly, food began to appear on it!
Oh, how I love green bean casserole. Mmmmm. Yummy. Oh yeah.
Ahem. Sorry.
And then, FINALLY, it was time to eat!
After dinner, we had delicious pies.
First, we made our traditional placemats while the adults finished preparing the meal.

Winner!
I have the winner of the contest! It is (Bumbadabum)...
"Missie in the Morning" by Da Goob, her girl!
I think it would be appropriate to add that this is Missie in the afternoon and night, too. :-)
I am stocked with presents to finish, so no prize this time. Just lotsa love!

Winter "Give That Photo A Name Contest"- Enter Now, You Hooligans!
This is Missie, or Mischief, or Must-you-tear-up-everything-you-can-reach. She is Glenna's pup. She is absolutely crazy, and taking a picture of her is an... interesting experience. I think this is the only picture I have of her while she is facing the camera. So, name it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The rules-strictly enforced with a crazy schnauzer who will attack if I snap my fingers:
- Limit 3 entries per person
- No entries after Monday, December 8 (Good heavens, is it really December?)
- Winner will be announced December 9. Or 10. Or 11. But hopefully 9.
Make this a big one! I want to see at least 20 entries!
Please?
Remember, I have a crazy schnauzer...
Umm...
These sentences were written as examples in my Spanish textbook:
?Es delgada tu mama? No, no es delgada; es gorda.
Translation: Is your mother skinny? No, she is not skinny, she is fat.

One More Thing...
(This will be the last post about my business- I promise!)
I just thought of this today- I can sell hats and scarves too. $4 for a hat, $5 for a scarf, or both for $8.
Also- I received a few orders for fuzzy slippers. I went looking for flip flops to do them on, however, and I couldn't find any, probably because it is winter. I am not done looking, but I may not be able to make those until winter is over. Sorry!
Thanks! Tune in tomorrow for the last North Carolina post!

North Carolina, Part Cuatro
One of the days during our trip, we went to see our land. This was the first time my grandparents were able to see it in person.
These are just some pictures of the ride there.
And here it is! My camera makes the mountains look sooooo much smaller and farther away than they really are. I remember taking this picture and thinking, "The mountains shrunk!" when I looked at it.
And this is an apple tree right next to it. There are a few apple trees and a few pear trees on our land. There are also a lot of black raspberry bushes!
Here are some more pictures of the view...
We are probably going to cut down some trees to the left and right of the gap to widen the view. Unfortunately, these are the best climbing trees on the entire property!
And here is our loverly pond. Isn't it beautiful? There is another one by the barn, but it dried up because it is not spring-fed like this one.
Isn't our God amazing?
