Our Garden!

I’m very excited because this is the first time we have been able to plant a garden! There was a raised bed next to our house that used to be one, so our landlord plowed it up for us! That will be the vegetable garden, and there’s a bed right next to the house for my flower garden!

A week and a half ago, on Friday, the B’s came over to help us plant! Kacey helped me plant my flowers. Here’s what I planted:

  Mr. B brought his tiller, which was a big help!     You can see a huge difference between the tilled and untilled dirt.

Then it was time to plant!

Here’s what was planted in the vegetable garden:   I’m so excited! We’ve already gotten some sprouts :) (Well, not in my flower garden, but hopefully my flowers will pop up soon :)

Joel and David found a patch of clovers that had 5,6, and even 7 leaf clovers in it!

I decided to check it out for myself, and look what I found!

Maybe this means my flowers will grow :)

The W’s Come to TN, Part 2!

The Wednesday the W’s came was my mom’s birthday, so on Thursday night we celebrated!

Cheesecake! Man, was it good!

Reading cards from M+P. They always get funny cards! They got her 3 because they liked them all :). Happy birthday Mom :)

Friday we visited the home of Andrew Johnson. The cool thing about it was that almost everything was original, from the furniture, to the toys, to the Presidential Potty, as I like to call it. :)

See that top hat on the table? Yep, that was Mr. Johnson’s.

   I love this furniture!

The house was really cool! I definitely want to go back sometime.

Friday night, Mrs. W took my mom and Mrs. B out to dinner. Three of my mom’s friends flew up to surprise her for her birthday, and met her there!

We gave them the house for the weekend. Mom had a blast!

We had so much fun with the W’s! Come back again please! :)
