At least she knew who a woman was who went with us from our church, and remembered her grandkids and asked about them...she was impressed. It's the far past I wish she could still remember. ah well. She's pretty alert for 102! She knew the candles on her cake weren't lit too, when I told her to blow them out. :) Grace Village didn't let us light them (fire danger) and I wanted to have the effect anyway. So she obliged me and blew anyway for fun. btw, her real birthday is the 29th. We went 2 days early because of weather coming. well, you know, "that" weather.
