Tonight in our Monday night family bible study, we reviewed a passage from Ephesians we had memorized last year. We each took turns reciting what we remembered. When it was Joel's turn, he made a few very small mistakes that gave the verse a very different meaning. Dad gave him a few tips.
"Think about what you're saying, Joel. We were not adopted by God's sons, and he did not give us the heavenly realms. The verse is supposed to help your theology, not change it."
