Merry Christmas!!

Sorry, I can't get the video up. Too long.

I had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope you did too. It was a very exciting day. I woke up at about 4:00 AM and it took a while for me to fall back asleep. Then I woke up again at 5:30 and went out into the living room, sat in front of the Christmas tree, and waited for the sun to come up. This was very unusual for me because I usually am the last one to get up on Christmas.

My Grandpa F came out about half an hour after I did. As other people started getting up, they wondered if the the world had turned upside down. They were definitely surprised I was up!

We had our traditional Christmas day omlettes for breakfast, mad by Uncle Mike of course, and opened stockings. Some of my favorite things from my stocking were a colorful ball of yarn and an ornament that had red, white, and blue cowboy boots along with a star on top of a sign that said "American Cowgirl." For those of you who don't know, I love anything that has to do with horses or the wild west, so this was perfect for me!

After breakfast we read the Christmas story from the Bible. As soon as we were about to start sorting the presents, we heard a giant noise and bells outside. We weren't sure if someone was dying or if it was Santa. Then my Grandpa F walked in dressed as Santa and carrying a bag of toys! It was so funny! After pictures with Santa we sorted the presents and opened them. I got so many wonderful things! A few of them are cowboy boots, colored pencils and a notebook and sketch pad, sheets, and scrapbooking supplies. I really like the two packs of stamps I got. This is what they look like:

I also got some paper to go with it. I have already used it twice!

Jack went home earlier today. I'm sure his family is very happy to see him back! Welcome back, W family!

Fun with Uncle Mike

Here are some pictures from wrestling with my Uncle Mike.

Notice Hobbes in the bottom right corner. He decided that since no one was wrestling with him, he would attack the pillow.

I like this photo because of Joel's face smushed into my Uncle Mike's arm. I know that you can't see it very well, but it is really funny!!!!! Video to come.

Happy Birthday, Joel!

Today is Joel's ninth birthday! We first had our traditional chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, and then opened presents. He got all the parts of a new skateboard wrapped seperately, starting with the nuts and bolts and ending with the deck. We took them to him one at a time, smallest to biggest, and it was funny watching his face win he saw only the nuts and bolts!

Then we took him to Bali Blue, a surf/skate shop. That was where we got all of the parts, and so the skateboard was put together for free! It took a long time because a few of the nuts and bolts from the same pack were different sizes from the others in that pack! But he was a very happy boy when it was finished.

After much traffic, we finally arrived at Vans skatepark. That place is huge! It is mostly indoors, but there is a little park outside. There were some really good skaters and rollerbladers there! One person on rollerblades went up a ramp and did a 180 frontflip! Joel was really good. He tried all sorts of crazy things!

When we got back home my Uncle Mike and Aunt Pam were already here, and right now we are getting ready to have supper with them. They live in North Carolina. I love having them here! Uncle Mike's birthday was yesterday. He is so funny. He is in school right now and is almost finished. Aunt Pam is fun because she likes to do scrapbooking with me. Families are great! I am so happy that my whole family is involved in my life.

Jack

Welcome, Jack!

For those of you who don't know, Jack is Mrs. JLW and Himself's dog. We are dog sitting him while his family is on vacation. (I miss you already, Drov!) Hobbes is very happy, as you can probably guess, and gets on Jack's nerves sometimes. Oh, hang on a second, Jack wants to tell me something.

That puppy of yours won't leave me alone.

He's a puppy, Jack. I'm sorry, but you'll have to deal with it for the next week.

But he won't let me have my toy back!!

Like I said, he's a puppy. He's not that bad, you just have to show him who's boss.

I tried. He pranced on me.

...Heh heh...yeah, he likes to do that...

Hobbes is actually calmer than I expected. He and Jack get along pretty well, although sometimes they need a break.

I will post pictures soon!

Lil' 500

Hobbes is fine, it is just a bacterial infection and we are treating it. He is not in any pain.

Last night was the JV Lil' 500 party. It was great! I actually won a round, my first ever win. I got to race in the race against the leaders, and I got banged around pretty good! It was fun, though. Grace was the all-time winner. I think she won five times, including the leader race!

Word to the wise: Never eat three peices of pizza before racing JV leaders. (plus a cookie)

I am looking forward to next year's party!

Good Luck, Hobbes!

Good luck to Hobbes, who is going to the vet today! He has little bumps on his body, and we wanted to get them checked out. At first we thought they were bug bites, but he doesn't scratch them and there are so many of them!

Good luck to you, Hobbes!!

Merry CHRISTMAS

C'mon, people. How can there be a commercial where they are surrounded by a Christmas tree and Christmas cards and be advertising something Christmas-like and still say "Happy Holidays?"

People, Haunakah is over! (if that is how you spell it :-))

Christmas is what almost everyone is thinking about! The majority of the people in America celebrate Christmas, and those who don't aren't going to blow up just because you wish them a Merry Christmas.

Mrs. put up a video that I like on her blog.

Merry Tossmas!

I don't know about you, but I am going to stand here and wish everyone a merry CHRISTMAS.

Time

Sorry about the time it says. I really post these things three hours later than it says, and I don't know how to change it. If you do, plese help me!

The Reason

I almost forgot-- don't forget the reason for the season!!

Noisy Brothers

Hello Everyone!

I have been wanting to start a blog for a long time, so TADA!!! Here it is!

I am almost done with Christmas shopping. I finally earned enough money to buy gifts for family and friends, and let me tell you, I have a lot of friends! But just two more gifts and I'll be done. Whew!

I CAN'T WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS!!!! I love this time of year. Everyone comes here, so I get to be home for Christmas with my friends. Unfortunately, I am not in my room for Christmas. I have to sleep in my parents' room, and on Christmas Eve, sleeping in the same room with two brothers who won't stop talking plus the anticipation of the next day makes it EXTREMELY hard to sleep. :-)
